This page explains how Marble Circuit Insights collects and uses personal data. It is written to satisfy Taiwan's 個人資料保護法 (Personal Data Protection Act, PDPA), and to describe our actual behaviour honestly.

What we collect and why
We only collect the personal data you choose to send through the inquiry form on this site:
- Name, email, an optional phone number, an optional topic and your message — collected for the purpose of replying to your editorial inquiry. The legal basis is your consent (PDPA Art. 15–16), given when you check the consent box before submitting.
- A consent preference for cookies, stored locally in your own browser under the key
mci_consent_v1. This is not personal data we hold; it lives on your device.
We do not run analytics. We do not use advertising pixels. We do not transfer personal data to any third party for tracking or advertising.
Where the data goes
Inquiry messages are sent by your browser as a JSON POST to the form handler at /api/inquiry on this same domain (marble-circuit.digital). The handler is operated by Marble Circuit Insights Co., Ltd. solely to read and reply to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent or share inquiry data with third parties for their own purposes.
Retention
We keep inquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of that correspondence, then delete them. If you ask, we will tell you what we hold and delete it on request.
Your rights under the PDPA
You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@marble-circuit.digital. We will reply by email.
No automated decisions
No decision about you is made solely by automated processing. Inquiries are read and answered by a person.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of consent. If you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text will appear on this page with a revised date. Material changes that affect how your data is handled will be noted here.
